Yoga online classes are becoming increasingly popular these days, but where can you find them? There are several different websites that offer this service, and some of them are even multi-day training sessions. Sky Ting TV and Glo are two examples. However, Yoga Download is my personal favourite, as it allows you to filter class options by style, instructor, level and intensity. Most yoga videos have a description that will help you decide whether to choose a class based on its length, level or intensity, and whether it requires props.
Sky Ting TV
If you’ve been thinking about taking up yoga but can’t find time to visit a studio, you might want to consider Sky Ting TV. This video streaming platform allows members to watch yoga classes anywhere. The company’s founders have been focused on growing their business since the AIDS pandemic, giving Sky Ting TV priority in their efforts. The company has since gotten out of two studio leases, hired PR, added merch, and boosted their digital marketing strategy.
Glo
Yoga online classes with Glo provide an extensive library of courses, with ample instruction available for every skill level. Many yoga apps lump classes together under the term “yoga,” but Glo distinguishes between different styles of yoga so that beginners can learn more about their yoga practice. The library includes over 4,000 videos, with a wide variety of topics covered. Users can also filter classes by mood or by specific meditations, and can browse through them in any order.
Frame
For those who are interested in practicing yoga at home, you can try a free trial class on Frame’s website. You can pre-register for a class online 45 minutes before it starts. “In person” classes can be dropped-in if there is space. You may also email your instructor to ask questions. You may find a live class better suited for your schedule. However, it is important to know your limits before you register.
Doyogawithme
DoYogaWithMe is a great resource for online yoga classes. The classes are led by yoga instructor Rachel Scott. She has over four thousand hours of experience, seven years of YTT teaching experience, and extensive academic training. The ERYT 500 program was designed from the ground up with accessibility, engagement, and professionalism in mind. It’s a great choice for people who want to learn yoga but don’t have the time or money to travel to a studio.
Yoga Loft
For those who are not local to the Yoga Loft, online classes are the perfect way to continue their practice without leaving the comfort of home. In addition to live classes, you can also take On Demand classes. If you don’t have a computer or a smartphone, you can connect using your laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You can sign up for live virtual classes by visiting the schedule page at least 10 minutes before the class starts and clicking on the “View Broadcast” link. On Demand classes are also available, but you must pay for the class online.
Practyce
The online classes at Practyce offer a variety of different styles and levels of yoga. You can sort your classes by duration, difficulty, or intensity, and find the most appropriate videos according to your needs. You can even customize your classes by the different categories and instructors. The video content of these classes is well-done and includes detailed instructions. Although some yoga classes are more challenging than others, these are still a great option for beginners and more advanced yogis.
